As you start to evolve and go deeper into your practise you will realise that what you learn on the mat you take with you out into the world eg.

  • The balancing postures not only bring balance to your physical body and balance to the left and right        hemispheres of the brain, but also help to bring balance into your everyday life.


  • As your respiratory system (lung capacity) improves so you experience more calmness and evenness in your life – if your breathing is not smooth, deep and relaxed one can become quite irritable.  


  • As your strength (muscular and skeletal systems) and cardiovascular system improve, so you start to feel more relaxed in your everyday life. (For you can never really know what is softness and relaxation if you do not know what is strength).
